No one can mistake what time of year it is. Just a glimpse in the freezer or refrigerator will reveal the holiday turkey or ham and other items for the trimmings. However, behind the food is the overarching theme of the holiday—thanks. In the world of business, as the economy gets harder, I find more and more things to be grateful for.
First of all, I am thankful for the people who work for me. Without good, hard-working employees a business cannot succeed. Employees are the frontline of a business and they are the ones who leave the biggest impression on customers. Good employees leave good impressions whereas bad ones leave bad impressions.
I am also grateful for loyal customers. They are the ones that are patient enough to stick around when you make mistakes and give you a chance to fix the problem. Then there are the first-time customers who are bold enough to give a business an opportunity to impress them.
Something else I’m thankful for is technology. PhaseWare would not be in existence without technology, considering that we are a customer service software company. Technology has created a whole new dimension to customer service and has allowed great freedom to customers and we at PhaseWare have been blessed with being a part of providing that freedom.
These things are just a few things that I have blessed with and am grateful for. Now, to business owners everywhere, what are you thankful for?
