Why Videos Are A Great Idea for your Business Part 2

In part one I talked about two different types of useful videos for your business to use, especially to increase organic traffic. How do you go about making a video useful though?
First, determine your message. Pick what sort of undertone you want your videos to have—serious, funny, sarcastic, etc. You need to stay fairly consistent with the tone of your videos.
Second, find the person who you would like to watch on camera. I know you probably love everyone you work with, but pick the person who you think would portray the best image online, someone with the most energy and someone who feels at ease being video-taped.
Thirdly, consistency is key. Figure out how often you want to post videos and stay consistent, especially when it comes to video blogs. PhaseWare posts videos to assist our customers with potential issues and tutorials, so those are a little less consistent, but with the exception of one week, we record, edit and post a vlog once a week. It gets viewers looking forward to the next vlog.
These are three useful points when making a video to promote your company/brand. Do you use any of these with your videos? Are you going to begin posting videos? Let us know—we’d love to hear what you think about this!
