PhaseWare HelpDesk Tip #1 - Respect the customer

All too often it is easy for people on a helpdesk to forget that not everyone is a computer expert or and expert on the software that the helpdesk is supporting.  Remember to first respect the customer, then put yourself in the customer's shoes and ask yourself the following questions:

1. How does the customer feel?
2. How would they like to be treated?
3. What can you do to improve the customer's day?

These are just a few easy things any customer support representative can do to help make their customer support excellent.
