Where the Customers Are: Customer Support on Spring Break!

Don't you sometimes wish all your customers would go on Spring Break and let you get some work done? It seems like it never ends:
- password lookups
- SLA renewals
- Training questions
- And on and on
And those are the easy ones!
Well, maybe your business does slow down a little at this time of year. If it doesn't, make sure to build a little break in the routine..even when it isn't Spring Break.
Offer your customer support reps time to take a walk outside now that the snow is gone.
Bring in one of those big red popcorn machines and get everyone a bag of freshly popped and buttered popcorn.
Have everyone stand up and do a group stretch and groan.
Give away silly prizes like "Best Hawaiian Shirt" and "Best Don Ho Imitation".
After a long winter....and I know it was much longer and harder for many of you than usual, everyone needs to get a refreshing blast of springtime air and a little time for Spring Cleaning the desk to get rid of old Christmas candy and New Year's hats.
Maybe your support processes could use some Spring Cleaning too so when Spring Break is over, every body starts with a clean desk, an uncluttered process, and a new lease on life.
